Centrepiece Project
The exciting holiday themed Centrepiece Project has been going strong for over 27 years. It started with members of the society teaching school children how to make centrepieces and grew with our volunteers preparing and distributing hundreds of decorated evergreen centrepieces to the Etobicoke community.
These much-anticipated items are delivered to various organizations in the community to share some celebratory cheer. These organizations include Meals on Wheels, retirement centres and The Red Cross. Larger arrangements are also delivered to the Etobicoke City Hall and Eatonville Library.
For our 2023/2024 season, we are very grateful to the following retailers who donated fresh greenery for the centrepieces:
Home Depot 193 North Queen St, Manager Luisa C.
Lowes 1604 The Queensway, Manager Nick S. & Dept. Manager Nick L.
Canadian Tire 1608 The Queensway, General Managers Carla & Andrea
