Frank Kershaw, an EHS member with over 50 years of horticultural experience, returns this Spring with a new and exciting presentation for EHS Members only.
Join us on May 2, 2026 as Frank shares insights and techniques/tips of the trade on the following garden practices:
Identifying the best plants to use/avoid for low on maintenance and high on rewards along with attracting beneficial animals, birds and butterflies
Recycling for big cost savings
Dealing with pesky critters including rabbits, raccoons, squirrels and opossums
Dealing with hired assistance (you get what you pay for)
Amending soil technique that really pays dividends (Double digging)
Keeping a great lawn at a reasonable price

Date/Time: Saturday May 2nd, 2026 from 9am - 1pm (this includes instruction and Q&A)
Registration cost: $25
Plant Sale: YES, once again, Frank will have an amazing selection of plants for attendees to purchase from noon - 1pm (cash purchases only). Please bring a bag/box for your purchases.
Location: Fairfield Senior’s Center, 80 Lothian Avenue; Room next to the auditorium
