We are thrilled to offer EHS members and non-members our second Floral Design class for 2026.
Learn how to create a traditional Water Viewing Design in this 3 hour workshop.
Water Viewing Design draws on aspects of Japanese styles of floral design. The idea is to have a clean, uncluttered emergence of plant material surrounded or next to an area of open water.
This workshop will involve:
demonstration and discussion of materials ideally suited to making a design
guidance in the creation of your own Water Viewing Design
group discussion of our individual designs
A material list will be provided to registered participants prior to the class.
Instructor: Our class will be led by Kari Emonds, an EHS member.
Date/Location: Saturday April 25th 2026 at Fairfield Senior Centre from 9am - noon.
Fee: $25 for EHS Members; $45 for non-members; fee does not include fresh floral materials or supplies.
Note: registration for non-members automatically includes a one year membership to the EHS. If registrant wants to become a member, please email:
